The t-Lounge & Bar by Dilmah at One Galle Face launched their exclusive ‘out-of-the-box’ Christmas High Tea on 06/12/2019.

The seasonal affair, which runs till the 31st of December, started off with a non-alcoholic bubbly on a Dilmah Cuvee Ran Watte base. To accompany this, luscious fresh strawberries.

The ‘platter’ itself came in a rather unique wooden box which shelved several delicious savoury elements and delectable sweet treats:

. Smoked Salmon Canapé
. Chicken Mini Burger
. Cucumber Sandwich
. Egg and Avocado Sandwich
. Lemon Tartlets
. Macaroons
. Chocolate Cake – paired with a hot shot of Dilmah Earl Grey
. Cream Scones – paired with a hot shot of Dilmah Rose with French Vanilla
. Matcha Mochi
. Mini Cheesecake with Raspberry Dressing
. Love Cake

To say it was delightful would be an understatement, with the already cosy interior decked up tastefully and adding to the warm Christmas feels.
If I were to pick a few favourites, they would have to be the Smoked Salmon Canapé, (surprisingly) the Avocado & Egg Sandwich, and (definitely) the Choco Cake.

As I already mentioned, the platter is only available till the end of the month, and it comes at a cool LKR 2,500 (for two). Definitely give it a go, is what I would say!
