We’ve had plenty of their savoury dishes and cakes and pastries before, but this is the first time I tried Paul’s éclairs. And I thought they were lovely!
Of course, mine was the chocolate one. The filling was creamy (but not buttery) and just right in sweetness, the pastry was firm but soft, and the little choco-ball garnish added a fun crunch. Fantastic.
The pecan éclair was pretty good too, with its creamy and nutty flavoured core, sweet glaze and a serving of crunchy pecans on top.
And finally, the strawberry éclair was a nice little bright delight, with a light, subtly sweet custard holding it together at the center.
Overall, a sweet éclair experience!
